Hello! My name is Penny Layne. I am a 39-year-old nanny and graduate student. I have 20 years experience working with children of all ages, though my favorite ages are infants and toddlers. I have done respite care for foster children, been a nanny for multiple families in Portland, two families in New York, worked as a camp counselor, and a nursery coordinator for a church. I am getting my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health. I am confident working with infants and children with special needs, as well as caring for multiples. I am very creative when engaging children of all ages through music, reading, art, outside play, and challenging them to use their imaginations and be silly. I have lots of experience feeding breast milk in bottles, making homemade baby food, sleep training, assisting in transition from breast to bottle, baby wearing, cloth diapers, potty training, and various Read more parenting styles. I am a firm believer in structure, consistency, naps, and lots of cuddles!
