My past experiences include being a Childcare Activity Assistant for a nonprofit organization. I supervised a group of children and cared for infants while their parents were taking parenting classes. I interacted with children through activities such as group games, coloring, reading and painting. I also prepared snacks and cleaned up after activities at the center where I worked. I have also volunteered for a nonprofit organized called SMART as volunteer reader. I read to elementary school children grades K-2 and they read to me. I provided support and encouragement for them to become confident readers while actively listening to them read. I encouraged questions and engagement while I read to them to ensure active listening was taking place. More recent experience includes being a part time Nanny for a 1 year old boy. I did everything from light housekeeping to feeding and changing diapers. I enjoy being around children Read more and find it rewarding to work with children. I am a clean and tidy person, can cook healthy meals, and prefer to keep kids active by doing park trips, walks, and outdoor activities and so on. I am looking for a temporary Nanny position (3-6 months) and am trustworthy person. I have dogs of my own and would be comfortable around small dogs.
