My love for children started out like many other people when I babysat children as a teenager. When I became an adult after I got married I worked for a few educational preschool facilities Including Easter seals and Headstart program. I was also a group supervisor for before and after school programs for the YMCA. While my child was 2nd child was young, I ran a daycare in my home. Most of my clients were teachers. After my youngest child was born I decided to work outside of the home in the retail industry. I am older now, no longer involved in the retail industry, and with two new grandsons, I realized how much I missed working with children. That’s why I have decided to get back into that field. I have not totally been out of childcare, because for the past few years I have helped with our nursery Read more program at church, and have had my clearances to be able to do that.
