Hi there!! I'm Zena, I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently a second year student at The New School, Eugene Lang School of Liberal Arts where I'm studying Politics and Dance. Starting in December, I will be taking time off of school to save money, so my schedule will be wide open. Growing up with younger siblings, I can't remember a time when I wasn't taking on the role of babysitter. Since then, I have spent seven years as a babysitter/nanny working with infants and toddlers, all the way up to age fourteen. I currently work for three families in the city - mostly transporting them to and from school and activities, but I often work overnight as well. With a strong theatre and dance background, I love engaging children in the arts. This past summer was a music teacher for children ages 2-8 and had the absolute time of Read more my life. During this time, I credit myself in handling up to ten kids at a time with grace. I am responsible, calm, punctual, loving and most of all - fun! The role of a nanny is to assist in making day-to-day operations run smoothly, but also to build strong and healthy relationships with a family, specifically with children. I will go above and beyond to anticipate you and your children's needs in assuring that I am carrying out this role. I can help with homework, cooking, or taking care of pets. I am tidy and organized, and feel qualified to take on the role of housekeeper as well. As a life-long Girl Scout, I live by the "make every space nicer than you found it” policy. :) I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a Pennsylvania Drivers' License, a very safe car (parked in New Jersey), and a perfect driving record.
