I have been married for almost 30 years, raised 3 beautiful daughters, and now loving on 2 adorable grand daughters. During our early years in Rochester, NY I became a licensed in home daycare provider. We had a great time during those 6 years, as a family and an extended family. I was licensed through Monroe Co. Dept. of Social Services where we were required to take classes through the local community college in Early Education. These classes were imperative and beneficial for the success of my business and in raising our children. We moved to Maryland in 1999 and became active in our Church. I was hired as the Children's Ministry Coordinator which I enjoyed for 6 years. I coordinated programs and curriculum for the children in our 200 + church. We developed age appropriate programs and trained our volunteer staff. We worked alongside young parents as their children Read more developed their faith base. Nurturing young ones is a passion for me and this position gave me the opportunity to assist fellow Christians in raising up their children with the values and morals we have instilled in our daughters. Seeking full time, I worked as a Long-term Substitute Teacher for Carroll County Schools in our local middle school. I learned to appreciate this very delicate age and became fluent in the theories and practices in the development of these young people. Pouring into their lives and making a difference was so rewarding. The jobs I held over the last 10 years have always worked around our daughter's lives and as they grew I pursued a career in Customer Service. I am currently working for Destination Gettysburg welcoming visitors as a Customer Service Representative. I feel God calling me to pour into little ones lives and help parents pursue their dreams.
