I have about 12 years of experience as a babysitter and nanny, beginning as a mother's helper when I was only 12 years old. I was so lucky to find three wonderful families whom I cared for regularly during middle school, high school, and my summers off from college. I took a year off from college between my freshman and sophomore years during which I continued to babysit, and also worked at a reputable after school program for children ages 6 to 11 providing help with homework, outside play time, and organized crafts and activities. I graduated last year from Bryn Mawr college with a degree in Psychology. I also studied and became a certified holistic health coach in 2011 so I love to support the families I work with in being healthy and happy. Since college I have been living in PA with my husband and have enjoyed watching Read more many of his adorable and vivacious cousins when his family members need a babysitter (sweet Emma was a junior bridesmaid in our wedding and is with me in my profile picture). I truly enjoy being a babysitter and nanny and find it to be wonderfully rewarding work. I love to cook, draw, read, do arts and craft, play outside, etc. with the kids I babysit. I am both a kid at heart, but also an incredibly responsible and mature adult, which I think is the perfect combination to have in a child caretaker. I am also a very neat and organized person and am happy to provide additional household support. I prefer to work with families who have girls, or a mix of girls and boys, as these are the types of families I have worked with in the past.
