I am currently employed by the Chester County Intermediate Unit as an instructional assistant in one of their autistic support preschools. I have current FBI and child abuse background checks and clearances. I have 3+ years of experience as a nanny, working with children ages 1-5. I have coached ice hockey from the youth level all the way up to high school varsity. I was originally enrolled at West Chester University in the Elementary Education program, however my Sophmore year I took, and fell in love with, a sociology class, and thus switched majors, and graduated with a degree in Sociology. (Hindsight, maybe not my best decision.) I know that as a man working in the childcare industry some will see it as a benefit, others may find it to be a shortcoming. I have a life philosophy of acceptance and understanding. I enjoy having fun and being goofy, but I can also enforce rules with consistency.
