Hi! My name is Amber. I have worked with children for the past five years, ranging from infants through high school. Previously I have worked as a nanny for an infant boy. Before that, I was a young toddler teacher. The lessons I create include literacy, finger plays, art, math/science, and fine/gross motor skills to provide the children with a well-rounded curriculum. Free play and outside time are a large part of the day, because children need a balance between individual explorations and caregiver-guided activities. The skills I have include lesson preparation, art instruction toddlers through high school students and homework help. I feel comfortable cleaning and cooking for families as well, in addition to nurturing and teaching your children. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education, so creativity is integrated in all I do, from activities I plan for the children, to singing Read more clean-up songs to make putting toys away fun. I am looking to grow with a family for a few years, so it is important we both feel the caregiver/parent/child relationship is a good fit. Christianity, yoga, living a healthy lifestyle, and spending time with friends and family are all important to me. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I am excited to nanny and I look forward to meeting all prospective families.
