I am a recent graduate of Bucknell University, with a double major in Studio Art and Psychology, who is passionate about children. I took many classes on child development, and have extensive babysitting experience. I taught martial arts classes to children ages 6 and above for many years. I am hoping to go to graduate school for art therapy in the next 3 years. I have worked in two childcare centers, working with 1-4 year olds, and am a professional face painter. I am passionate about helping children discover and appreciate art in everyday life, and I love to be active and help children find intrinsic motivation to succeed at whatever task lies in front of them. I am also type 1 diabetic, and have cared for diabetic children before. Because of my experience with diabetes, I am able to handle many health issues. I have cared for children one-on-one, Read more and up to 4 children at once. I also am comfortable with large groups of children in classroom or birthday party settings, because of my experience as a face painter. I love to cook and introduce healthy foods in new and exciting ways to young children, and can multitask doing laundry and playing games with children at the same time. I am looking for a full time position, and would love to build a strong relationship with both the children and family.
