Hello, My name is Rebekah Sherk and I'm 26 years old. I've always loved working with and teaching kids. My experience began when I was only 12, volunteering in my church nursery. I still love watching kids learn new things and I've been working with them ever since! I was a babysitter all through high school. I took my first job as a nanny when I was a senior in high school watching a newborn for the summer. In college I babysat some weekends and a few times over winter break. In addition during summer break I was a lifeguard for three years. During my last year in college I started my current job as a nanny. The past three years I've been a nanny for a great family! When I started I watched a 1 year old girl and a 4 year old girl. Then about two years ago Read more a third little guy was added to the bunch and made the trio complete. I've watched kids of almost every age and I really enjoy it! I currently live in Glenmoore PA with my husband Jesse. I am willing to babysit at your home or mine. I live about a mile from my parents house. My parents live on a farm with chickens, goats, pigs, and cows. They also have a pool and about 40 acres with Apple trees a huge garden, a pond, and a small creek. Weather permitting I would love to walk around the farm with the kids, take them to the pool, go fishing, pick apples, or go to the library. My parents also own a Bakery and Cafe in Glenmoore. If things are slow at home we could go to visit the bakery. I went to school to be a pastry chef so I love being creative! I can bake with them or do crafts. I really enjoy going to the library! I currently go once a week and bring back about 30 books at a time! My favorite books to get are holiday books or seasonal books when they're available. I'm also willing to go grocery shopping and run little errands while I'm watching the kids. If you have questions about anything just send me an email!
