Hi! My name is Jessica. I am currently looking for a full time nanny position. I went to school for Elementary Education and graduated with an Associates Degree from Montgomery County Community College. I have over 10 years experience with children. I started babysitting at a young age, have worked in daycares as the lead teacher and have been a nanny for families. My recent job was with a family for 4 years. They relocated to Washington in the fall. When I started with them their youngest was just 2 months old. They had a second child 2 years later. While with this family, I was in charge of doing the girls laundry, emptying and refilling the dishwasher everyday, and doing weekly cleaning such as dusting and vacuuming the downstairs. I have my own transportation so when days were nice I would take them to the park to play. We Read more also went to the library every week for story time. The girls would pick out books to take home. These were a big hit for before nap time. The oldest started attending preschool so I would do drop offs and pick ups as well. A side skill is I have a lot of experience with art, I took private classes for 7 years. Arts and crafts is one of my favorite things to do. It gives the kids a chance to have fun and be creative in their own way no matter what the age. Nannying is something I love to do. I feel privileged to be able to help and watch children grow to their best potential. Someday I will do the same for my own kids.
