I have many years experience as a Nanny in my Jenkintown Borough Home. I provide one on one care. My background is in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I have worked at Jenkintown Methodist Nursery School, Grace Presbyterian Nursery School and as a teaching aide in J. Elementary School Kindergarten. I have raised four children. I care so much for children and how they think and feel. I would prefer to provide child care in my own home but am open to other possibilities. I have all three clearances (child abuse, criminal and FBI fingerprinting - copies available upon request. November 15th, 2012 To whom this may concern, I am delighted to give my recommendation of Laurel ----- to care for your child.  Laurel cared for my children, our son who is now three years old and daughter who is now 15 months old, for over a year and a half.  More specifically, Read more she cared for our daughter on a full-time basis for a year, and took care of both of our children during "babysitting duty" on special days.  We were very lucky to find someone like Laurel.  First and most importantly, our children absolutely loved Laurel!  She was more than a caretaker or babysitter…she really cared about our children as if they were her own.  Not only did she take time and play with them, but she also took the time to read and teach songs, stories, and other lessons, such as practicing numbers and letters.  Our son especially looked forward to either going over to see Laurel or if Laurel would come to our house to visit.  To our family she was more than a babysitter or care taker…she was a friend and part of our family.  To find someone like Laurel is an absolute blessing.  I know from the bottom of my heart that you and your family will grow to love Laurel as my family has!
