Hi, I'm Lauren! Thank you for taking time to read my bio. I will be moving to Clark Summit from King of Prussia at the end of April. My husband will be stepping into the family business which required a relocation but I am very excited and I really love the area. Availability: I am seeking a family who is in need of a full time or part time sitter or nanny. I will be able to begin working May 11th, 2016. My schedule will be flexible. A Little About Me: I am 31 years old, so I am a little older then some of the other sitters/nannies you may have come across on Sittercity. I am originally from Rosemont, Pennsylvania which is near Villanova University. In 2009 I graduated from Cabrini College of Radnor. In 2013 I earned a Masters degree in Forensic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Read more Medicine of Philadelphia. After graduation I interned for a few months in the Medical Examiner's office in Philadelphia. Sadly, forensics is a very hard field to find a job in. So I had to look in other directions. Luckily I found a job working as a counselor and court advocate for victims of crimes. Most of my clients are children aging from 3-18 years old. I really enjoyed being a counselor for children and adolescents. It enriched my life and taught me so many new amazing skills outside of the field of forensics. For that I am thankful. I was at the agency for 2 years. I left because of the upcoming move. I am very outgoing and social. I have a lot of energy and like being outdoors as much as possible. I am a committed runner and for many years I used to figure skate. I am also a rescue diver at a nearby fire company here in the Philadelphia area and I am training towards became a dive master. I am married. My husband's name is Chris. He is a funeral director. He shares many of the same interest as me minus the figure skating ;) Babysitting/Nanny History: I have been and nanny twice before and have been babysitting for many years. I nannied in college and while in grad school. I was also a pre school teacher for 1.5 years at a local KinderCare day care center when I was first out of college. I have experience in caring for newborns and more then one child at one time. I am a very fun babysitter. I like to do activities with the children. I like going outside with them, doing crafts, playing sports and going on adventures. I am CPR/ARD and first aid certified with and extensive background in the field of medicine.
