I have been working with children in various capacities for most of my life. I have an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies, giving me a true understanding of chldren's developmental needs at different times in their lives. I have a Master's in Social Work, with a specialty in children and family therapy. I have been a TSS with special need's children for many years. I was a mental health professional, where I worked with children with behavioral and psychological diagnoses like ADHD, and children on the Autism Spectrum. I substitute taught at a credited preschool, for a year. I adore children and have two of my own. I have a 10 year old daughter in 5th grade and a 6 year old daughter in first grade. I babysat since I was 13, babies through young teens. I believe taking care of a child is the most important Read more job in the world. My only concern is that my youngest daughter does not get on the bus until 8:45pm. So, I wouldn't be able to start working until 9am. I am very interested in this position. I would also like to negotiate the pay, due to my academic degrees and extensive experience.
