After raising and schooling my own children for the past 20 years, I have decided to continue caring for and schooling children in some capacity (if requested). After leaving a professional career with UPMC I became a mom, the greatest career of my life, and I had the added blessing of homeschooling them. I have two daughters attending Grove City College and a 14 year old son still home now. I have an passionate interest in child development and with 3 kids who were, unfortunately, my guinea pigs (since I have a Masters degree in Community Health Services, not Child Development), I learned what works and what doesn't, sometime sooner than later. I am not a fan of television but rather activities that children enjoy and learn from.
