I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for 10 years and my passion for children and teaching has only grown stronger! I am currently the Lead Toddler Teacher at a wonderful bilingual Head Start center in Erie, PA! I am moving to Denver, CO in March and would love to be a nanny for your family. I graduated with my Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education in 2012, and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2014. I plan to attend grad school for Speech-Language Pathology in the fall of 2016! Throughout the years I have worked closely with many age groups from 6 week old infants to 12 year old school aged children. I am also a certified pediatric yoga instructor and practice stress management with children on a daily basis. I am active and love to dance and learn through Read more music and movement, and I believe children learn greatly through it, too! I engage children in many activities throughout the day to enhance their various learning skills such as cognitive, language, social and emotional competence, literacy, gross/fine motor, the arts, science/math, etc! I also LOVE doing art projects, not the cookie-cutter ones or pages in coloring books, but ORIGINAL children art that is made by the child, not the teacher! I provide the materials, and the children create. :) I know a fair amount of Spanish, but would not call myself fluent. I know tons of words and lots of phrases!Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask! :) Also, I have ALL of my clearances and background checks, as well as references UPON REQUEST. I do not want my boss receiving a bunch of emails with requests for references unless it is a serious inquiry, please! Just ask and I will be more than happy to provide you with any of those things! :)
