As a recent transplant to Philadelphia, I am looking to break free from the monotony of the day to day service industry job (restaurants, cafes etc.) and return back to what I really love doing, childcare. For me, working side by side with a family who entrusts me to care for THE most important thing in their lives is a humbling privilege. I enjoy having those human connections that can only be obtained through personal levels. In the past as a Nanny I spent every day with the kids I cared for, helping them with homework, cooking meals, taking them to practices of all sorts, and incorporated my hobbies into daily activities such as hiking, drawing, and reading.
