Hello Parents! My name is Ashley and I grew up around kids and absolutely love them! My mom is a nurse at Children's Hospital and instilled the importance of good childcare in me from a young age. I have been her "built in babysitter" since I was 12 because my sister is 6 years younger than myself. I am babysitter certified (cpr, changing, etc.) from my local hospital. I also used to volunteer at my church childcare in Junior High/High school and was a camp counselor for a week during the summertime. I am very responsible and I love to have kids enjoy their free time doing something fun. Nothing brings more joy to my heart than seeing a smile on a kids face. I love to make them happy by taking them out to the park, playing games, or simply reading to them. I believe it is extremely important Read more to nurture children and not just put them in front of a TV or iPad until their parents get home. In terms of help around the house, I enjoy making healthy snacks/meals for the kids I will also help prepare dinners if needed. I understand how hard it is to get things done when you get home from work so I will happily help around the house or run errands for you so that you may spend quality time with your children when you get home. I also love pets, I grew up with dogs my whole life and I volunteer at the Pet Shelter Operation Ava. I do not have a car in Philadelphia but I do have a clean drivers license and a clean background.
