I have been a babysitter/nanny for over 8 years and have worked with all ages from newborns to teenagers. I have been with my most recent family for over three years, but the children have recently began school full-time. I am available part-time work (currently Employed Wednesday's and Friday's 6am-6pm) and though I am a student (majoring in Behavioral Health) I do have a very flexible schedule. I am very laid back, but energetic as well as patient, playful, creative and fun! I encourage education through reading, interactive play and arts & crafts and put an emphasis on manners and encouraging independence while providing a safe and nurturing environment. I have experience working with severe food allergies, Leukodystrophy, Autism and ADD/ADHD. I also have experience working with/teaching baby sign language, which is a wonderful addition to any family with a new baby. I am very comfortable taking the kids outdoors Read more and to activies (museums, play dates, music classes, library, etc.) and have no problem prepping/cooking meals. I truly love working with children and take pride in being able to care for a child in their parent's absence the way the parent would if they were there.
