I am a 2014 graduate of Georgetown University who will be returning to DC this year to participate in Georgetown's Department of Classics' part-time post-baccalaureate program. Since graduating, I have been working as a research assistant at the Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute in Philadelphia. I enjoy working with older adults at the research institute, but I also missed the fun and energy of being around kids, so I began babysitting for several families here in Philly. I spent my summers during college working at a theater where I taught drama classes to ages 5-18, including many children with special needs. I have a large extended family and I have been baby-sitting regularly since high school - just ask anyone in my hometown, Joliet, Illinois! I completed CPR certification in August 2014 and attend many safety and health seminars due to my job at Moss Rehab. Since I will be taking Read more classes at Georgetown, I'm looking for a nanny position with some flexibility during the day. I'd love to drop your child off at school and then head to campus for my own studies! I am happy to work evenings and weekends and I don't mind helping out around the house - I'm an excellent vegetarian cook, and I find folding laundry to be relaxing! I have treasured the relationships I've formed with the children I sit for in Philly, and I'm looking forward to meeting families in Washington DC!
