Hi! I'm Amanda, a 2017 University of Michigan grad and Alexandria, VA native living in Chicago and working full-time at a social impact real estate start-up. I started babysitting 10+ years ago in high school, and have watched kids of all ages. I have the most experience with elementary-aged kids, but love working with younger ones too. I love keeping kids active with sports, crafts, games, etc. Also very comfortable cooking, doing light housework, and caring for pets as needed while at your home (I love cats and dogs!). My prior experience includes nannying for three different families (both full-time during the summer + after school during the school year), weekend babysitting jobs for a handful of families in my neighborhood, and working as a counselor at a summer camp for preschoolers. Amanda watched our children ( age 3 & 9 months) a couple times over the summer for us to enjoy a night out on the town and was absolutely fantastic. She was on time and would reply to texts almost immediately when we inquired how the kids were doing. I could not recommend her highly enough.
