Meet Kaitlyn

I have very diverse experience in childcare. I have experience watching newborns, infants, toddlers, all the way up to children in middle school. I used to teach gymnastics lessons and camps at the YMCA for ages anywhere from 4-12. I love being interactive with children and we would have several hours of gymnastics instruction/routines followed by a healthy snack then either swimming or various craft/art projects. This also gave me great experience working with a group of children at once. I did long-term babysitting for an infant and for a 2 year old child, and love working with this age group. It is exciting teaching children this young, and seeing how quickly they can learn and absorb information. I was also a lifeguard for several years and taught young children swimming lessons. I was first aid and CPR certified for several consecutive years and can easily re-certify upon request. I Read more was an art major in college so I love doing crafts and reading with children. I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy going on trips and adventures with young children. I am also very passionate about cooking and eating healthy and will be sure to make that a priority for a growing young person.
