I have taken care of children in some capacity for most of my life, starting with my younger siblings. I have babysat and been a nanny and/or for children ranging from infants to early teenage years, the majority of whom have been toddlers. Nurturing and being a witness to the growth and excitement that is childhood is work that I find very rewarding. In keeping with some parents' requests, I have communicated with their children in French, Hausa, Fante, Haitian Creole and (to a lesser extent,) Spanish.
