Hello, my name is Cherise and I am 24 years old. I have 6 years of babysitting/ nanny experience and a B.S. degree in Physical Education & Sport. I am also CPR/AED/ First Aid and Advanced Child Care certified. I am currently a full-time Nanny but, I am seeking occasional gigs. I am free on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I began as a nanny for a family member for 2 years with 3 kids, beginning at ages 1, 4, and 6. My duties consisted of cleaning, cooking/ meal prep, laundry, outdoor physical activities at the park, and entertained with indoor activities. I also fed, bathed, and clothed the youngest, and occasionally read bedtime stories during some overnight stays. As a babysitter in gyms for 2 years, my duties consisted of maintaining a clean, safe environment, and entertaining the kids with play with the available toys, coloring books, movies, and group Read more games. The ages I cared for ranged from 3 months-12 years old. Lastly, as a summer camp coach I lead by example for girls' 4th through 8th grade. I designed and demonstrated basketball drills all while motivating them to always prove strong work ethic, sportsmanship, and confidence. I feel like my strength is my organization skills, in terms of planning the day and housekeeping. When caring for kids, my goal is to not only watch them, but guide them to grow into their own person mentally, physically, and socially. Of course, in respect to the parents’ values.
