I recently graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Bio-Behavioral Health. I have worked as a kindergarten teacher's aide, a nurse's aide, science camp counselor, and as an English teacher in Cambodia. I have volunteered for the Red Cross, Penn State's THON organization, and at an Elephant Rescue Park in Thailand. Since graduating in 2011, I have spent my time traveling and volunteering in Europe, Southeast Asia, Central and South America. I was lucky enough to nanny part-time for 2 wonderful families last January through December while I was back living in the states. I recently moved back to the Queen's Village neighborhood of Philadelphia and would love to find another family to work with for at least a year. I love playing outside with children, whether it be taking them for a walk, wagon ride, to the park, playing sports, running around in sprinklers, or exploring Read more nature. I also enjoy helping kids with their homework, making practice worksheets, arts and crafts, jewelry making, teaching card games, board games, scavenger hunts, and cooking/baking. I genuinely love working with children and plan on eventually continuing my education with a masters degree in either Education or Health Sciences.
