Ever since I was younger, I knew that caring for children would be something that I enjoyed. I have a genuine love for little ones and I enjoy being apart of their everyday growth. I began babysitting for family members when I was about 11 years old. I was always the one to volunteer to look after their children even if it was for a couple minutes. I soon began baby sitting for neighbors during my spare time. I became a permanent babysitter/nanny for a neighbor in 2011 and stayed for 2yrs. During that time I also started working a daycare. I was a lead teacher for the toddler (2-3yo) classroom. By working in the daycare, I not only have experience in monitoring and teaching multiple children, but I also obtained a various amount of training in the process. After that I got another nanny job which happened to be Read more a live-in position. I stayed with that family for 1 1/2. My most recent job was a nanny share position where I cared for two infants starting when they were 3 months old until 18months old. Working with children is such a joy for me and I would love to continue down this path.
