I worked as a social worker a big chunk of my adult life. My experiences include worker in a day care, doing individual and group therapy at a private elementary school, shift work at a maternity home, family assistance at children's hospital of Pittsburgh, an adoption worker, child and family therapist in child welfare and both a community and private doula (birth and postpartum for twins). I've also helped families by preparing meals to stock their fridge and freezer. I started as a sitter at the age of 12 and was taking care of twin premies by the age of 17. No matter what was going on in life I generally spent time helping one family or another care for their children. There isn't a single family that hasn't become an extension of my own family. In recent years I worked for a local police officer and his family as Read more well as a local entrepreneurial mom and her family. I am up to date on my clearances (July 2015). Personally, I have two wonderful girls. Being a nanny has afforded me the flexibility to meet their needs and they love spending time with the kids I watch. We have a dog and cat and love animals so that's absolutely no problem. Lol I am completely used to being followed around the house. Feel free to ask me any questions.
