I started babysitting at the age of 13. I took a babysitting course and learned how to properly care for a child ranging in ages from newborn-and up. While babysitting, my tasks have included bath time, helping with homework, cooking dinner, tidying up, reading, playing, and tutoring. I have always had an interest in spending time and helping children. In high school, I volunteered with special needs kids and worked with the Special Olympics for two years. My mother is a teacher, now teaching 4th grade, and when she used to teach Kindergarten, I spent time with her students who needed a little extra attention and helped with their school work. I have a 1 year old daughter. My interests include being outdoors, art, music, cooking, animals and caring for children.
