Besides the fact that I am a mother and have cared for my own child and other family member's -- babies and the elderly -- I am a born caregiver. I am the oldest of four children and helped provide care for my younger siblings during their childhoods. I enjoy providing comfort and support to others. I am patient, kind, and concerned about the well being of those I am tasked to care for. Lately, I have been working as a caregiver in the older population; having worked for folks at the end of their lives. However, I am experienced personally and professionally providing nanny and babysitting services. Most recently, I worked full time as a nanny for a family in Media. They had two children; a five year old and a one year old. I worked for them for a year until the grandmother moved in with the family Read more with the intention of caring for the children. It was unfortunate for me but a wonderful situation for the family. While working for the family I cared for the children; taking them to activities and some doctor's appointments. I prepped and cooked meals, helped with laundry and light housekeeping, and kept the house tidy. I am looking for full time work -- or close to it -- and I'd prefer to work weekdays. I love animals and I am very comfortable being with and around them. I am a non-smoker and I have my own vehicle with a clean driving record!
