I have been in childcare facilities since 2009 and a mother since 2007 :) When working in the childcare centers I was first an assistant lead teacher in the two year old room and then when I relocated I became lead teacher in the three year old room. All the while I moved around the centers and worked with children from infant to school age. I enjoy all stages of a child's life. They teach us just as much as we teach them. I am very hands on and love to get messy, which in turn helps to teach about clean up time! :) I have many trainings which I have documented in a PDR that I'd be more than happy to share with you. I have had First aid, CPR, SIDS, and have received my CDA ( child development associates ) I left the Childcare Centers because I hoped Read more to be able to work more closely with the children in a more calming area for the child as well as having the ability to work and move at the individuals own pace. In the three year old room I was responsible for ten children at one time, this stressing the fact that multiple children are A-O-K in my book! I have gained understanding and patience. I am open minded, respectful, calm and out going! I like to think I have great balance and am a well rounded person!
