I am a proud aunt of 5 nephews and 4 neices with one neice on the way! They range from ages of newborn to 19 and I have helped care for all of them. Aside from my experience in my own family, I worked as a nanny for three years for three girls (ages 3, 5, and 6 when I started). I also worked as a nanny for 2 girls for 1 year (ages 6 and 8) and baby sat their cousins, a little girl and boy (ages 2 and 8). I currently hold a bachelors degree in secondary education and history and a masters degree in education. I have been teaching for 3 years in high school but I am seeking to work with younger children and have more interactive fun time. Teaching high schoolers in urban schools can be very stressful I am also seeking a job that Read more is not so stressful. I have a six year old lab mix as well so I am very good with pets! Some of the activities I have done as a nanny in the past are arts and crafts, play outside, go to the library or park, or play fun games. Additionally, I also cleaned houses for years and don't mind doing light cleaning or laundry if requested. :)
