Hello, My name is Jillian and I'm currently a graduate student studying Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac University. I have a strong interest in working in the field of pediatrics after I receive my Masters Degree. I am originally from Rhode Island but currently a Wallingford resident. A bit about me: I have gained a lot of experience working with children over the years as I have babysat for kids, ranging from 6 months-12 years old. The past two summers, I was a full time nanny for two children, ages 8 and 13. In the months of December 2016 and January 2017, I babysat for a 9 month old, full time. I also am on the executive board to plan a summer camp for children with limb loss at Quinnipiac, called Camp No Limits. Additonally, I am a frequent volunteer at an adaptive skiers clinic at Mount Southington for children with Read more disabilities! Currently, in additon to classes, I work at the Netter Medical Library part time. I have completed multiple pediatic occupational therapy fieldwork rotations at various schools and outpatient therapy centers. In the past, I have worked at the Family Literacy Center in Rhode Island from 2010-2015. Here, I tutored students 6-17 years old, helped with biweekly preschool story sessions, and ran weekly cooking and craft programs for kids! Additionally, I have volunteered and have been a head counselor at a field hockey camp for girls 5-14 since 2009. I will happily engage your child by playing outside, helping with homework, doing arts and crafts, baking, reading, going for nature walks, and playing games. I am responsible, compassionate, energetic, patient, and tidy. I have reliable transportation and I am first aid and CPR certified. Let me help you and your family out with your child-care needs!
