Hi! My name is Courtney. I am 24 years old with a heavy interest in the arts, animals, self healing/inner child healing, nature, crafting, hula hooping and a natural passion for children and working beside them. Since I was 14 I have always had a babysitting job, and as I got older I gained more and more responsibilities and experience, taking on a more serious role with each opportunity. Now I can say I have had experience with all ages, boy and girl, ranging from newborn to teenage years! For six years after graduating high school, I maintained a supervisor position in retail and babysat/nannied for multiple families (sometimes even at once.) Some were long term while others were temporary positions. Last year I decided to go back to school for the first time since 2014 while I steadily worked for one family of one little boy who I still Read more care for on an as needed basis. Since the mother lost her job due to COVID, I have solely been focusing on school and exploring different paths. I have recently been certified as a Teachers Assistant and will be interning at a school for the month of May. I am interested and eager to get back into a babysitting/nanny position! Out of every job I’ve had and explored, being involved with kids has always aligned best with who I am and it’s where my heart lies. I just want to help and be as useful as I can be so whatever you may need I’d love to be a helping hand. I don’t mind any housekeeping, preparation with food/cooking meals and I definitely do not mind animals! I have a chocolate lab named Zeppelin and I also own reptiles and a bunny, so I’m comfortable with all. I can assist with an art project or homework (math is not my strong suit unfortunately lol, it depends). My dream would be somewhere that I can bring my dog (hes friendly with all other dogs and loves children) but understand that would be a rare case lol! I have clear communication skills and am very open, therefore want to answer any questions or concerns you may have! I do like to also mention that I am heavily tattooed - nothing offensive whatsoever - but am aware that some parents feel a certain way about it so I just include it in here so you can know from the jump.
