I am a 22 year old college student finishing up my degree in early childhood education at UMass Boston. I am available full time starting mid-May (some flexibility based on my exam schedule). I am looking to continue working through September with the possibility to stay on longer with flexible scheduling. I currently work for Jumpstart at the Lee Academy in Dorchester. I teach preschool and am currently completing my first student teaching internship. I have experience diapering and potty training and am CPR and first aid certified. I absolutely love reading to children and have had and lead extensive trainings through Jumpstart, a national service organization, on how to engage children in stories. I also love doing arts and crafts with children. I have completed many successful projects in the classroom such as Christmas cards for the troops, rainbows with a pot of gold, and greenhouses made from paper. I enjoy being silly, singing, dancing, having fun and creating meaningful relationships with children while learning in the process.
