I have been a nanny/ babysitter for the past six years. My experience includes; babysitting for my neighbors who have two daughters ages six and seven. I have done overnights for them as well as meal-prep, and chores. I also have experience with young children, I have been a nanny for a co-worker of mine who has a two year old son, and six month old twins. while looking after them my responsibilities included; meal-prep, transportation, cleaning, laundry, overnights, and potty training. I also look after my 25 year old cousin who has severe epilepsy, when needed, this includes; feeding tubes, seizure care, oxygen tank use, transportation of a wheelchair, and pulse ox monitoring. Aside from my extensive experience, I have also attended CCRI where I majored in early child hood development and minored in special education. I also have my cosmetology license as well! I am CPR, AED, and Read more first aid certified, along with taking a self defense class. I own my own car, and a clean driving record, and don't mind having to do transportation or run errands. Growing up i owned every pet imaginable from gold fish to a horse, I've had it all and love animals. Summer is my favorite season and I will find almost any excuse to be outside! I love sports, outdoor games, and arts and crafts, but I can also enjoy a good movie on a rainy day (Mulan is my favorite). I think its easy for people to tell you why they would be the perfect nanny for your family because everyone knows what someone "wants" to hear, so instead of telling you what you may want to hear I am going to tell you the honest truth. The reason I love being a nanny, and looking after kids is because I love how kids see the world. When you talk to a child you don't hear them taking about terrorism, or politics, or war. Kids see the good in the world, to a child there is no evil besides whats under the bed or in the closet, and that's what amazes me. Today it's so easy to get wrapped up with all the bad in the world but when i nanny it's a breath of fresh air to know that the only thing I have to worry about is the child(ren) that I am watching, and to make sure that every "boo-boo" gets the proper cartoon band-aid. That's why kids are my passion, and why I love my job more than anything!
