Hello, I am a 51 year old widowed grandmother, mother of 2 adult children! Simply prefer to have children in my life, as they just make me younger! I have past experience as a Primary School lunch lady, title was Lunchroom Monitor, my main duty was to maintain the students safety, wellbeing, as well as overall behavior while waiting to be served their trays in line, directing each class to the appropriate tables, then dismissing each class, to empty, put away their trays on an extremely strict schedule. My service allowed the teachers, other staff members to actually have a break for the lunch period. Also, I have twin nieces, born of my sister, exactly 3 weeks before my daughter, therefore, we would switch off, as she worked, I would watch all 3 girls, and vice versa. Then as God saw fit, as we did NOT plan to go from Read more playing baby dolls, having boyfriends, high school, to having our children so closely, however, our girls were 5 years old, when her son was born in Feb., then in August of the same year my son was born. So again, we worked out a way so that I took care of the boys, as the girls had just started school, we both just felt much more comfortable with one of us taking care of our babies, so again, 2 babies at once. I began to help most of my aunts who lived locally, as they began their families, as back when I was a child, 10-12 years on.. it was just the way of our family, maybe, I'm not sure, but as my aunts began to have my younger cousins, I was the one who greeted them as the new arrivals and new mothers came home, I would help with diaper changing, feedings, etc. even at such a young age! Then my most current experience, which really made me realize how much I missed having been surrounded by children all of my life, I have cleaned homes for the past 3 years, one of the families, consisted of 5 children. I started working for them simply as a housekeeper. This was a military family, so the children and I formed a bond, much deeper than that of a housekeeper, I was with them for Christmas, took them to enroll for school, Easter, birthdays, etc. I have also been a caregiver on a personal level, for family members. Then decided to pursue my training at a local college just to better understand the needs of others, and some of the medical procedures, I obtained My Certified Nursing Assitant degree. However, after 3 years, that expired, and I simply did not have the funds, or the time then to return to school.
