I am happily married, 56 years old, a mother of two beautiful, young adult daughters. I delight in taking care of children. My college degrees are in Family & Consumer Sciences (Home Economics) and another in Printing Management (Graphic Arts). I am an artist of various mediums - calligraphy, re-purposing home decor, small table & wedding decor, children's bedroom accents and other creative arts! I am athletic, actively in yoga, circuit training, and mountain biking & hiking. I enjoy music of different genres, have to have it in my life. Other interests include photography, movies, reading & listening to audiobooks, flea markets, researching new outlets for creativity and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I have been a babysitter since I was 12 yrs. old for infants up to teens. My first nanny position was with a media conglomerate family with 2 kids (boy, girl). I was a live-in nanny, Read more 24-7. My daily routine with the kids was wake up, get dressed, breakfast, carpool(car provided) son to school, pick daughter up from Montessori mid-day, lunch, arts & crafts, play, pick son up from school, snacks, homework, day ended varying with activities of the kids or family. My various positions being a caregiver/nanny have varied through the years according to the needs of the families. These included travel on vacations, weekly stints while parents went out of town or the country, elderly care along with the grandchildren and a few physically challenged children. I have been blessed to stay at home with my daughters through their grade school years. I substituted as a teacher at their school for grades Pre-K- 12th Grade in all subjects. Assisted in the Learning Lab for students with special needs. I also, chaired many fund raisers for our church and school. I am currently taking care of a precious almost 3 yr. old boy. I have been with his family for 2 yrs. now. He is such a delight! He is attending pre-school so my hours are less. I do hate to leave him & his family but I do need more hours.
