I am a recent graduate of Clemson University where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a registered nurse in the state of New York. I am in the process of relocating to the New York City area and I'm seeking a job as a nanny. I have been working as a private nanny for over a year caring for 2 elementary aged children, one of whom has type 1 diabetes. Children have a variety of different needs, but the most basic and most important of these needs are safety, health, and wellness. As a registered nurse, I know what it takes to keep your child safe, healthy, and free of harm. As a nursing student, I logged 180 hours of direct, hands-on care of newborns and children in a hospital setting.
