I am a retired college professor of Child Development and as such I also have developed and directed Child Development Centers on college campuses for children 6 weeks to 3 years old and taught and directed in ones from 3 to K ages. I am also the mother of two very successful young adult children. I have lots of experience with young children, but will follow your instructions and schedules for the very best care of your newborn son every weekday and on trips. I was a working mom too and am very understanding as to those hours and work-family demands that don't always give us the time we would like with our own children. As a widow of a career military officer, I love to travel and have done so in many countries around the world having lived and taught in Dubai the longest. One of my children was asthmatic and had to use nebulizer and various medications so I can easily adjust to special needs also (should your son encounter any -- hope not!). I am a Silver Life Master at duplicate bridge, enjoy crafts, reading, and writing and love the ocean. In addition to my Ph.D., I have a M.A. in mass media, and a B.S. in home economics education.
