I was a teacher for 5 years up until June of this year when my husband and I decided to make the switch for me to be a stay-at-home mother. To make ends meet, I am hoping to keep one or two other children in my home during the daytime or provide after school care. I have cared for children as young as infants since I was 12 years-old, and I love nurturing them through reading, singing, dancing, playing outside, creating through arts and crafts, and teaching them through all kinds of cognitive development activities. Showing children appropriate social skills is important to me as well, especially in a world with so much technology and screen time that often separates little ones from those social opportunities to learn.
