Hi! My Name's Stacy, and I'm a nanny and a full time student at Coastal Carolina University! I'm a psychology major and English minor, and after I graduate I plan to continue in school to get my Ph.D in Child Psychology and work as a children's counselor. Nurturing children is my passion, and I love that being a nanny gives me the opportunity to guide and teach children while I work towards my degree! I'm one of twelve children, and I have a five year old niece, a five year old nephew, and a two year old nephew, so I have been helping take care of children my entire life! I've also volunteered in the children's ministry at my church for about seven years now! I started babysitting as a job when I was thirteen, and I've been working as a nanny for about a year now. Over the fall Read more semester I was in a short term nanny share with a four month old girl and a two month old boy, and I'm currently a part time nanny for a three year old girl and her one year old sister! Last summer I worked as a lifeguard and received CPR and First Aid training. I have experience working with children with special needs such as shaken baby syndrome, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism, and I have patience and understanding with all children while helping them reach their potential! I'm happy to help with any cooking, cleaning, laundry, or errands that need done! I have worked as a tutor before and can help with homework and educational activities! I love to hike, kayak, surf, paddle board, and do yoga and gymnastics, so I definitely encourage being outdoors and active! I also enjoy reading with children, doing crafts, and playing educational games.
