My husband, Raymond, and I are junior university students who recently moved to Greenville in order to attend North Greenville University. We are looking to offer a small home daycare at our home, 5 minutes away from Furman. We love children and would love the opportunity to provide year round care (full time in the summer and part time during the school year) to children of any age. We want to create an environment where your children will be active, learn, have fun, do crafts, explore outside, go on fun outings, and have a blast playing with other kids. If you are interested please contact me with any thoughts or questions. I am also willing to consider providing nannying or babysitting services at your home too. I have had four year's lifeguard experience and, during my time, was promoted to head lifeguard. Additionally, I am currently certified in CPR and Read more First Aid. I am the oldest of five siblings and have had extensive experience teaching and caring for children of every age. Not only did I assist my mother with homeschooling my siblings (the youngest of whom is almost six years old), but I also was responsible for a variety of household and familial duties such as: cleaning, cooking, driving and schooling. I have had experience caring for my own siblings and have also babysat for a number of families, including those with special needs. Moreover, my husband and myself are experienced tutors. He has tutored for Cedarville University as a mentor and writing coach. I have tutored for homeschooled and community college students and was an assistant math teacher at Thomas Nelson Community College. I also taught other children Latin and Math and worked as a tutor/playmate for a three year old boy with down syndrome. Growing up both my husband and I have always been around children of every age (and cannot wait to start having some of our own!). Both of us love spending time with children, caring for them, understanding them, and planning activities and crafts unique to each child's personality. Moreover, we love working with parents to best understand and meet their child's specific needs. Whether it's tutoring, planning fun crafts, or simply being a helping hand, we look forward to any opportunity to serve others and pursue our passion.
