I love doing outdoor activities while engaging a child’s imagination because I believe that having an imagination is important for a child, it’s what sparks creativity. Which definitely helps when the weather become cold and wet, keeping a kids from playing outside. Imagination isn’t the only thing that is important, keeping up with school work is too because life isn’t just about fun but responsibilities. Teaching a child how to handle responsibilities will establish how they should prioritize the things in their life as the get older. I have been watching children of various ages off and on for the last few years and I volunteered during my senior year of high school as an Assistant Teacher and then work as a Substitute Teacher during a summer which required me to take a CPR/First Aid course.
