Hi! My name is Katherine and I am a graduate student at MUSC earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a focus in pediatrics. I graduated from Clemson in May 2014 with a BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition. My most recent nanny job was with a wonderful family in Greenville for a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. I helped with school pick-ups, homework in the afternoons and household chores (laundry, dishes), lots of activities (playing outside, bike riding, climbing trees, going to the park, the zoo, the children's museum, playing inside - puzzles, books, crafts, etc.), and preparing and feeding meals. I had to leave when I moved here for grad school, but still have a very close relationship with the family, and they can provide references if needed! My past nanny jobs have included caring for infants, toddlers, and kids up to 6 years of age. Read more I believe I am skilled in and have a passion for caring for people of all ages. I'm passionate about healthy living and raising children to value good food choices and taking care of their bodies, and I love helping children learn and assisting in shaping their minds at a young age. I just love children! I love their zeal for life and their contagious energy. A little more about me: My husband and I attend St. Andrews Church and were YoungLife leaders in college. I have volunteered at numerous activities involving children, such as Safety Town and summer swim teams. I have been a camp counselor at several camps, and I am lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certified. I have sat for children of all ages, from 1 month to eleven or twelve years old. I love children at any age, and am comfortable with sitting for up to three kids. I believe playing outside and going for walks or bike rides and teaching kids to think creatively and enjoy the sunshine is important!
