I worked at the YMCA for 3 years as a camp counselor and an after school caregiver. I helped the kids with their homework, played various games, and also did arts and crafts. I worked at PLEX Indoor Sports for 2 summers as a summer camp counselor. We played all types of sports every day of the summer and had different types of camps throughout the weeks. Being with these kids for such long periods of time made it special because we became like a family and they would always brighten my day. I feel that having kids in my life gives it more meaning since they are so fun and you never know what to expect! I also have babysat for multiple families throughout high school. I babysat/nannied consistently for one family during my senior year of high school and loved it! Im good with babysitting multiple kids as Read more well as only babysitting one kid. I love all ages! I have younger siblings and cousins so I am used to any age. I also have been CPR certified twice for my summer camp jobs. I was a hostess my freshman year of college and I have realized that I would rather be around kids and that having the hostessing job just wasn't the same as my old job where i was constantly around kids. I feel I am really good at babysitting because I like to be weird and do silly things. But I also know when to be serious and when to show authority so it is really easy for me to bounce back and forth when necessary. I have a really bubbly personality which makes it easy to get along with everyone!
