I was a high school English teacher for two years. I loved being in the classroom and interacting with students, but I chose to leave the classroom to pursue a different dream of working in the non-profit field. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership in order to achieve this dream of mine. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English from Wofford College. Being in the classroom is only one of the ways I've interacted with children. I've also taught karate, tutored while in high school/college, and served as a mentor in a nonprofit organization. I enjoy reading, cooking, and exploring and learning about new things. I've taken both Tang Soo Do and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. I am CPR/First Aid certified and certified as a secondary education English teacher.
