I have always enjoyed children, especially infants. I recently graduated from college with a bachelors in biology. With my degree I will go on to become a neonatal intensive care and pediatric nurse, but in the mean time I will be completing my masters in childhood education. For many years I have enjoyed watching children, whether it be family, friends, co-workers, etc. I treat all children as wonderfully as their parents do, as if they were my own. Below is some of my previous experience with children. My references for past babysitting jobs and job references are not listed, but contact information for them can be provided through email, as well as the rest of my resume because it would not fit. I have been babysitting since the age of 14 and I am now 23. If race is an issue, FYI I am a recent African -American college graduate. Since I have started with the families the babies have been put on a precise daily schedule. I am also very interactive with the children, I play games, sing songs, teach numbers and alphabets to them and other activities to stimulate their minds. My new refrences can be provided upon request.

Amanda babysat our three children while we were living in the Charleston area and we loved her! It's hard for me not to worry about my kids when I am away from them but with Amanda caring for them I always had peace of mind. She was able to be loving and firm when she needed to be. All three of my boys loved her. She also cleaned the kitchen and living room for me after the boys went to bed which was an added bonus. I wish we could have taken her to Seattle with us!

Amanda was a God-send. She was wonderful with the children, flexible and helped me to organize things and even helped with light housework. She always had a great demeanor and was extremely helpful with suggestions and ideas. Unfortunately we moved out of the area, but I would recommend her to anyone! Tiffany Miles
