I only called myself a nanny because I'm a little older than most sitters (53 years old). I have been an insurance agent for the past 30 years and quit my job this past March because our agency was taken over by a new agent. The working environment was totally different than it had always been in the past and I was no longer happy there. It just wasn't the same friendly place. I've had trouble finding a job where I could be off on the weekends so I have been doing some babysitting for my neighbor who has two boys, ages 5 and 18 months. I love keeping them and we have a great time together. I do not have any specific training or certifications except for the fact that I have raised two lovely girls of my own, but would be willing to get any certifications that I Read more need.
