I have had a a lifetime of caring for children. In high school I was a camp counselor. After college and marriage raised 3 daughters, did some substitute teaching grades 3-12, and informally have taken care of children of friends and family all my life. I have retired from work as an occupational therapist and now am using my time to be with children. I have resided in Sioux Falls since 2006 and cared for nieces and nephews until approx. 2 years ago. I volunteered 4 years at a preschool 3-5 year olds. I am a paid employee for Sunday nursery care for children from infancy to 9/10 year olds. My most recent nanny position was 3 days a week for a child starting at 3 months and just ending when my little guy turned 2 and his parents enrolled him in full time preschool/daycare. some of the things I Read more can offer your child/children are singing lullabies and silly songs, dancing, make believe, dress up, play acting, reading books, roughhousing, walks, playing in the park, board games and puzzles, laughing, crafts, cooking, sewing, and tutoring in reading and math. I am especially creative in math skills. Now I need to find a new child/children to care for, play with, celebrate, and love.
