Hello! My name is Jane and working with children is a passion of mine. I come from a family of four children. Being the oldest, I have grown up helping to take care of my two youngest siblings who are eight and ten years younger than me. Interacting with children comes naturally to me. I have grown up in Europe and speak fluent French. I graduated from the International School of Luxembourg followed by four years at Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, TN studying elementary education and French. I recently got married, and have no children. We have one adorable kitten. I believe that children develop and thrive in an environment that provides encouragement, structure, positive reinforcement, and love. I believe that children learn best through hands-on and self-motivated experiences. I believe in the power of reading, and the power of interactive play.
